Torquay
Founded in 1909, the course has steadily evolved to present a first class parkland layout that offers a challenging yet rewarding test of golf in beautiful natural surroundings. The tree lined fairways and high quality greens present an interesting challenge on each hole. Torquay golf course provides a true test of golf for players of all abilities.
Teignmouth
Teignmouth Golf Club is justifiably proud of its heritage. The course was designed by the legendary Dr Alister MacKenzie and opened in 1924, some 9 years before he completed his most famous work at the Augusta National, home of the US Masters. Teignmouth’s course is situated near to the South Devon coast and, at 800 feet above sea level, it commands spectacular views of the sea and nearby moors. The 18 hole moorland links presents a great test of golf for players of all abilities. Features include six varied and challenging par 3s and no fewer than 11 two-tier greens, a true MacKenzie trademark.
Stover
The peace and tranquillity of Stover Golf Club, located on the edge of Newton Abbot is a convenient treat for golfers in the south west, with easy access from the A38 and M5. The course is one of the best parkland courses in the south west. The beautiful parkland golf course features a wide variety of holes, elevation change, mature trees, streams and picturesque ponds. This 18 hole 5959 yards course off the back tees consists of two loops of nine holes which both come back to the clubhouse. The course design was influenced by "5 times British Open Champion - James Braid" and provides easy walking, narrow tree lined fairways but contains subtly contoured greens that present a fair but challenging test of golf for all enthusiasts.
Dainton Park
Established in 1993 Dainton has grown into one of the friendliest, most enjoyable clubs in South Devon. Set in 125acres of classic parkland, elevated tees offer magnificent views over Dartmoor National Park and the South Hams, while tight, well defined fairways follow the natural contours of the land, and inviting greens nestle among the trees and water features. Dainton Park is a good test of golf and has also played host to the County Championship.
