Course
Front Nine
Wrangaton Golf Club was founded in 1895 on the southern slopes of Dartmoor. Our course is unique with a split of 9 moorland holes and 9 parkland holes. It’s very much a course of two halves and there is nothing else like it in Devon! We pride ourselves on a great atmosphere and club spirit.
Many holes showcase stunning views of the rich Devonshire countryside with a backdrop of the coastline and the sea 10 miles away. These 9 holes all come with there own set of unique challenges that will test any level of golfer and their shot making ability. The front nine always puts up a challenge due to to its ability to never play the same way twice which coincidentally makes for a set of holes that is impossible to become tiresome.
Back Nine
Tree lined fairways and greens surrounded by bunkers with closely mown run off areas all under the watchful eye of the moorland 9 that towers above the parkland trees. Some positional play is key off some of these holes all ending with a tough closing stretch that is always a topic of conversation back in the clubhouse after a days play.
