Courses
Bude & North Cornwall
Situated in the centre of town, Bude & North Cornwall Golf Club provides 18 holes of great links golf. The natural all weather fairways and greens are rarely unplayable. With tight lies and uneven stances on the close cropped undulating fairways and greens that have beautiful quick surfaces, with both severe and subtle borrows the course offers golfers of all levels a challenging and enjoyable experience.
Royal North Devon
Royal North Devon was originally laid out by Old Tom Morris and subsequently revised by Herbert Fowler, and is a quintessential seaside course. That is, its character is totally dependent upon the land. From the traditional clubhouse, the view of the course is an array of dunes and brambles, with little to suggest a championship standard golf course.However the reality is much different, as Royal North Devon is a gem; any good tour of the fantastic golfing landscape of Devon should certainly include a stop at the remarkable Westward Ho!
Trethorne
Trethorne Golf Club offers a par 71, parkland golf course with beautiful views across the Cornish Countryside. This challenging golf course measures at 6301 yards and features an array of water hazards, bunkers and tree lined fairways to put you to the test. This is a great golf course suitable for all levels of golfer.
Launceston
This course from its elevated levels of the course offers spectacular countryside views over both Dartmoor and Bodmin Moor, with majestic views of our historic town and castle. The course is a well established 6385 yard par 70 parkland course designed by Hamilton Stutt. It offers an excellent and challenging round of golf for all standards of golfers and has hosted the county championship on several occasions.
Holsworthy
Situated in the heart of Ruby Country in North Devon, Holsworthy Golf Course offers stunning scenery, the perfect setting to play golf in North Devon. This 80 year old Golf Course offers a true test to golfers of all standards. A fully licensed clubhouse and excellent catering services providing locally sourced and homemade food.
Bowood Park
The par 72 course runs to 6,692 yards for the men, 5,700 for the ladies and is set up in a way which should maximise enjoyment for all standards of golfer - you shouldn't have to spend your holiday looking for lost balls! The well-drained greens, built to USGA standards, means the course rarely closes in inclement weather, and in winter tees and greens are in full use - no temporaries.
Accommodation
The Hebasca Hotel is located a stones throw from Bude Golf Club, 9 minutes walk from the beach and is a 5-minute walk from into Bude's town centre. The Hotel boasts a cocktail lounge, grill restaurant, and a sundeck. Free Wi-Fi and Free private parking are also available.
